Mr Bajomo has over 30 years of experience in oil and gas operations, business development, portfolio management, contract negotiations and asset management. Between 2005 and 2010, he was a Vice President for BG Group with responsibilities for commercial, business development and venture management for upstream licences, midstream opportunities and LNG development for their Nigerian assets.
Between October 1980 and August 2005, he worked for the Shell Group, with 19 years in Nigeria and 9 years in various international locations in Africa, London and the Netherlands. He was the Managing Director of Shell Exploration and Production Namibia and Namibia Country Chairman between 1999 and 2003.
Importantly, between 1994 and 1996, he was the Chief Petroleum Engineer responsible for managing the hydrocarbon resource base of 12 producing and 8 non-producing fields, with oil reserves of some 1100 mmbbls and production of ca. 150,000 bopd, in the Western Division of Shell Nigeria in Warri, where OML 26 is located.
Boma Pepple is Chief Technical Officer of FHN. In this role he is responsible for delivering the company’s technical and field development activities covering opportunity identification, resource maturation, project delivery and portfolio management.
He is a reservoir engineer with over 25 years’ experience in operations, Information Technology, reservoir modelling, field development, asset management, technical/business consulting, M&A advisory and business development. His professional experience spans the operating (Shell), services (Schlumberger) and consulting environments (SGS-Horizon, Xodus Group, Sunrise Advisory and Target Oilfield Services) which gives him a broad and balanced set of skills and capabilities from the hierarchical and structure/process-oriented culture of Integrated Oil Companies (IOC’s), to the strong service delivery orientation of Integrated Services Companies (ISC’s) as well as the nimble, entrepreneurial culture of start-ups.
He has undertaken technical, commercial and leadership assignments in Africa, Europe, North/South America, Middle East and Asia Pacific. He graduated with Bachelor of Engineering in electrical engineering from the University of Port Harcourt and Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science from Cambridge University. He is a member of the SPE and has attended technical, business and leadership training within the oil and gas sector and at the Harvard Business School.
Ebenezer Ageh is the Chief Operating Officer of the Asset Management Team of OML 26 (Operator of the NPDC-FHN Joint Venture). As an E&P Professional, Ebenezer has over 24 years of industry experience gained from active involvement in all phases of oil & gas exploration, exploitation and production. He has extensive experience in Onshore, Offshore and Deepwater Field Development and Operations spanning major global E&P basins, U.S. Gulf of Mexico and the Niger Delta. Prior to his oil & gas involvement he had a brief stint with academia as a lecturer at the Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Chemical Engineering Department.
Until his current role, he held several senior management and executive positions such as Production Engineering Manager Gulf of Mexico Assets for Hess Corporation in the USA, Discipline Principal-Production Technology for Shell Companies in Nigeria, and Chief Executive and Managing Director for Integrated Field Development Company (IFDC). While at Shell he was a Certified LEAN Practitioner, and Shell Global expert in Smart Field Design. His expertise is majorly in the areas of Production Optimization, Well & Reservoir Management, Integrated System Modelling and Integrated Field Development.
Ebenezer graduated with MSc in Chemical Engineering and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Leadership at the Dallas Baptist University in Texas USA. He is a COREN registered Engineer and a member of a number of professional associations, among them the Nigeria Society of Chemical Engineers (NSChE) and the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).
Uche Nwamara is the Head of Legal and Company Secretary of FHN. He also has responsibility for the Company's commercial and compliance functions. He joined FHN from legal practice in leading law firms in the United States and United Kingdom (most recently with the London office of Kirkland and Ellis LLP), where he garnered significant experience in corporate law, specifically in mergers & acquisitions and leveraged buyouts in multiple jurisdictions across many sectors.
Uche is a summa cum laude (First Class Honours) graduate of Howard University in Washington DC, and holds Masters and Juris Doctor (J.D.) degrees from Harvard University.
Okon Udo Akpan has over 24 years’ working experience in the Oil & Gas Sector. His technical skills and competencies cover: Process Engineering, Project Engineering & Management, Facilities Engineering, Materials Coordination, FEED and Detailed Designs, Pipeline Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Site Installation and Construction Works and Oil & Gas Production Operation.
Prior to joining FHN, Okon Udo Akpan served in a variety of technical, operational and management roles with Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria, Afren Nigeria, AMNI International Petroleum Development Company and Neconde Energy Limited.
Okon brings a proven record of performance in conceiving and executing cost effective and fit-for-purpose projects with a wealth of knowledge managing local contractors and vendors in Nigeria. Okon Udo Akpan has a B.Sc. (Hons) in Chemical Engineering from University of Ife, Ile-Ife (now OAU), an MEng. in Industrial Engineering and Management Science from University of Nigeria, Nsukka and a CEIBS Executive MBA.
Kayode is responsible for the overall finance function at FHN. He is an experienced finance professional who started his career in the transactions and restructuring practice of KPMG, where he was involved in over 20 advisory engagements across different sectors.
Sequel to his stint at KPMG, Kayode joined the corporate finance team of Oando PLC to work on fund raising and M&A transactions summing up to circa $4billion in deal value.
Following his term at Oando, Kayode joined Coronation Merchant Bank, as the Head of Mergers & Acquisitions and Capital Markets, where he spearheaded capital markets and M&A transactions with cumulative transaction value of over $700million.
Prior to joining FHN, Kayode also worked as Corporate Finance Manager at Lekoil Ltd, an Africa-focused oil and gas company listed on the London Stock Exchange.
He is a graduate of actuarial science from the University of Lagos, a CFA Charterholder and a KPMG trained chartered accountant
