Boma Pepple

Director and Chief Technical Officer

Boma has over 26 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry covering IT, field development, operations, technical services, consulting and management. His core skills are reservoir engineering, development planning, and reservoir management. A significant part of his career was with Shell during which he worked on projects in the Niger Delta, Gulf of Guinea, North Africa, North Sea, Gulf of Mexico, Brazil, Middle East, Asia, and Russia.

Leaving Shell in 2005, Boma joined Horizon Energy Partners as a Technical Consultant and Managing Director of the company’s Nigerian subsidiary, HEP Consultants, which he partly owned. He undertook several assignments in reservoir engineering, development planning, project management, and strategic advice for large and small clients including Shell, Exxon, Addax, Afren, Sahara Energy, Pillar Oil and DB Petroleum.

In 2011, he joined Xodus Group in The Hague as Operations Director and was appointed Group Technical Director in 2013 with responsibility for the development, deployment, and improvement of the Group’s technical capabilities.

In February 2015, Boma assumed the role of President, Upstream Services & Consulting for Target Oilfield Services, LLC, based in Muscat, Oman. He was responsible for running the upstream consulting, asset management, and technical services division.

He graduated with a BEng in Electrical Engineering from the University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria and has a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science from Cambridge University.
